  • Booking and confinement: Fairfax County Sheriff's Office, 4110 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030; 703-246-3227. Adult Detention Center: 10520 Judicial Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030; 703-246-2100.
  • FCPD reports and local self-history: Central Records, 12099 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035; 703-246-2272. Appointments may be required.
  • Virginia criminal-history records: Virginia Department of State Police, Criminal Justice Information Services Division, Central Criminal Records Exchange. Select the proper SP-167, SP-230, or authorized channel.
  • Expungement and sealing: file through the court and process identified in the applicable Fairfax and Virginia instructions.

The Sheriff's Office holds Fairfax Adult Detention Center booking and confinement records, while Fairfax County Police is the main custodian for FCPD incident and arrest reports. The court clerk, not either law-enforcement office, supplies certified case orders and dispositions.
